MAKING ME A LITTLE CRAZY !!
kind of driving me out of my mind!!
The latest thing for me is I write a comment
and it is always one of my more thought provoking one....lol..
and I hit the button
and it just disappears into thin air!!!
I have no idea what happened to it.
It doesn't happen all the time and it doesn't happen on the same blog
I do it again ...and it disappears again!! No this comment will be visible after approval...
no word verification.....no nothing!! poof it is gone...
So if you are not hearing from me know that I am thinking about you....
dad is good....not great...not bad....just good. We will take it...

My guess would be is you lose your connection off and on and that causes the comment to get lost. That happens with me anyway and so when I know it's not a good day for the server, I copy my comments, if lengthy, and then hit post.
Blogger had hit menopause!!!!
So glad your dad is doing 'good'! Blogger is always up to fun new things..hmmm. Yesterday that happened to me and I wondered if it was my imagination, I will try to remember who it was and go back and check to see if my comment is there. Maybe you could check at the people you remember leaving a comment to..off I go to check. xo

I've had some issues with posting comments occasionally too. I hate that. I love commenting. Of course, I'm assuming EVERYONE wants to hear what I have to say.

I too have isues but I think it is my own computer. So I will drop it off at the shop for a cleansing.

In the grand scheme of life, it's not so very important. What IS is those whom we love and live with...glad your father is still with you and doing OK given the possibilities.
It's been driving me nuts since I changed my template. One thing after another. Hope it clears up for both of us.

I don't know if it's the new stuff or now. I'm having trouble too and I didn't click the new format...I know nothing...nothing. Hope this posts. I posted 5 comments yesterday on my daughter's blog before one took.
What browser are you using? Until I switched over to Google Chrome I had that happening and more!

Same thing happened to me...I started highlighting my comment before hitting the post button just in case it vaporized! That way I could just paste it in.

Glad your dad is doing good. Mine somehow disabled the car today. We think he put water in the gas tank. Give him 5 minutes unsupervised and he gets busy!
I have no problems with blogger except for the length of time it takes to upload pictures!!

Sorry to hear about blogger. I didn't realize people were having trouble with my blog until I was emailed.
Then I made some changes and I think it works for everyone now.
But that doesn't mean Blogger is not evil. ;-)

Part of the problem is that Blogger is by Google and Google thinks it's too big to do anything stupid. (Sort of like Facebook.)
I do love the comment above that said blogger hit menopause.. I know I have why not blogger.. Thank goodness there are drugs for menopause..Hee Hee.. I really don't think there is any help in site for blogger..

It's happened to me. Every time I comment I now copy it before pressing the final button. That way, if it disappears I just have to paste it, say a prayer and try again.
Good is better than bad.

But then so is Blogger. Fortunate. Ever been swatted by a Bear's paw? Right, then.

I found out today that Blogger is in the process of changing things and you are not the only one having problems with comments.

Been having the same problem with comments on Blogger, disappearing. I found if I sign in to my blog, get on my blog's dashboard and comment on other peoples blogs from there, it works. Good Luck.
I''m feelin' your pain! Blogger has sucked the fun right out of blogging, for me. Most days blogger says I am not following any blogs. One the days I do have a blog list, i can;t comment. The probelms have been ongoing, for months!
blogger/google/YouTube (all one and the same) couldn't care less!

I've visited Phoenix a bit... but only as a pass-through point on my way to Sedona. My Grandparents used to live in Sedona and I visited them each summer when I was a kid. My brother lives there now.
Can't wait to read more... oh, and yes, Blogger has done that to me - sometimes more than once. Let me tell you, the third comment is usually very brief!!

Someone told me yesterday that it is a problem with the blogs who have their comments embedded, which I did. I've since changed it to the pop-up window comment box and am hoping that helps.

Bloggers has definitely been trying our patience of late.
You know how they say how a person untangles Christmas lights is a good judge of character and patience? I think they need to add 'leaving blogger comments' to that list.
