THINKING OUT LOUD...

This holiday season I have made a firm commitment not to buy anything that we can't eat or drink...so why is it I can hardly wait for the Black Friday ads to come out in the newspaper.... A couple of years ago I read a book called TRADEMARKS...all about marketing etc.(which I love to think about)...anyway...this book was about why we do what we do and why we buy the things we buy..like I use Tide because my mom uses Tide and even though a man is going bald he stills uses Head and Shoulders though he has little to worry about dandruff...but he is trademarked...Makes me wonder.....

NEW HOUSE UPDATE

Our weather has been beautiful the last couple of weeks and makes a big difference in building...just not so darn hot!! The pics are showing the garage and guest house with the new roof base....getting there....

UPDATE ON BUILDING

Time for a little update on the building situation...but before I get to the new house I found these pics of the little guest house that is attached to the shop (which is 3 acres away from the new house). The pics kind of made me laugh because we have been staying in the guest house now for about a year and believe me it doesn't look like this anymore...me, my husband and our Molliedog can have that effect on things..lol..Anyway, we hope to be in the new guest house at the new house by next spring....which leaves this one open..make reservations now!

WAAAAA....I WANT MY ESTROGEN BACK!!

Good Gosh, I looked in the mirror this morning...I not only feel like a hundred years old I now LOOK like I'm a hundred years old !!! I have a secret stash of six weeks of estrogen and I'm going to take it!! (no, not all at once..though that is a thought) If I see an improvement I'm going to get me some more...there is such a thing of quality of life too ...lol...Anybody have any thoughts on this??...Not fair really....men have trouble and they give them a little blue pill...women have trouble and they take ours away...
